- Juan Luis Fermín is a Venezuelan film and television director, producer and screenwriter. He is a graduate of the Metropolitan University as a Production Engineer and the Film and Television School as Audiovisual Director. Then he studied in Barcelona - Spain, at the ESCAC, (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya), where he obtained the Postgraduate Degree in Script Writing of Feature Films and the Master's Degree in Marketing, Sales and Cinematographic Distribution. He becomes known with a couple of short films that differentiated his style to address romantic comedy and positioned him as director and screenwriter within his country. He founded the production company Bajo La Manga Films, producing 3 feature films. He also founded the "Chorts" short film festival, which he directed for the first 5 years, positioning it as the most important short film festival in Caracas. As director of short pieces he plays a constant career in the production of video clips. As director of long formats, he recently served as General Director of the romantic comedy series Eneamiga and the horror series Almas En Pena, both for RCTV productions.
