Simon Morton is an award-winning writer, actor, filmmaker and airplane pilot. Born in Switzerland to immigrant parents, Morton wrote and acted in his first stage play at age 12. He received his Bachelor of Arts at University of St. Gallen in 2015. That same year he immigrated to the U.S. to study the Meisner technique and in 2019 joined SAG-AFTRA. Morton's films and screenplays have been accepted into such festivals as LA Shorts, Beverly Hills Film Festival, Bermuda International Film Festival, and Sunscreen Film Festival. And some of his writing and acting accolades include "Indie Spirit Award Screenplay Short Film" at Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema and "Honorable Mention: Actor" at Los Angeles Film Awards for his role in the aviation themed sci-fi action thriller "The Only Flight." When not indulging himself in the art of filmmaking, Morton works as a freelance charter pilot on private jets in and out of California.
