- Born in Connemara in the West of Ireland on May 29th 1985, Ciaran Charles got his first taste of the film industry as a child in Roger Corman's Trained for Action. He graduated from St Mary's College and went on to attend university in Edinburgh. His short fiction films have won awards internationally and screened at festivals all over the world. He was awarded the Puttnam Scholarship for 2019 - a unique mentoring opportunity with Oscar Winner David Puttnam.
