Ridhi Rajpal

Ridhi grew in New Delhi before moving to Mumbai for her love for Bollywood in 2011. As a child, she was always fascinated with visual and performing arts and spent her early years learning different forms of dance and experimenting with art. Graduation in Mass Media and Mass Communication (BMMMC from IP College of Delhi University) brought her a step closer to her dreams as she started working as a photographer and writer for various magazines and websites even while making her own short films and doing other activities as part of the course curriculum.

The move to Mumbai was almost immediately after graduation where she spent one year at Xavier's Institute of Communications doing her PG Diploma in Films & Television. Feature films were then just a few months away. Friends always recognized her love for anything related to films and that's how she was recommended to be the Costume Assistant for Sonam Kapoor on the sets of "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag". After that, there was no looking back. Feature films, TV shows, television commercials and web-shows followed one after the other where she worked in various capacities - Associate Director, 1st or 2nd Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Director's Assistant, Costume Stylist to name a few.

Now working towards her own directorial ventures, Ridhi believes that everything in life can be turned into a story - you just have to sit down and write the first draft!
