Michael Jastroch is a veteran comedic actor, writer and improv instructor now based out of Philadelphia, PA.
As one of the founders of ColdTowne Theater and a member of the seminal improv groups ColdTowne and the Frank Mills, Michael was instrumental in the explosive growth of the Austin Comedy over the last twenty years. He has won several awards for his stage work, including "Best Comedy Group " in the Austin Chronicle Reader's poll and has been recognized several times by Austin's B. Iden Payne Awards for "Best Actor in a Comedy," "Outstanding Improviser," and "Outstanding Improv Ensemble." His sketch comedy projects have won Best of Fest at the Lone Star Sketch Festival and the Frontera Fringe Festival as well as a Critic's Pick in the Austin Chronicle Reader's Poll. His podcast, Victrola! was named one of Austin's "Best Comedy Podcasts" and was a national finalist in Earwolf's "Contest For Improv For Humans."
Michael has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including Lousy Carter (2024), Power Couple (Comedy Central Pilot), and Ripped (Netflix). He is also an accomplished commercial actor and voice over artist, and has appeared in commercials for major national brands such as Coca Cola, Game Stop, Whole Foods, Legal Zoom, and the USPS.
