Borja Escribano (Madrid, Spain, 04/07/1984) began his audiovisual career as a production assistant in TVE series like "Stamos Okupa2" and programs like "Espejo Público". He worked in the production of the film "El Cosmonauta", financed through crowdfunding and shot between Latvia and Spain. As a freelancer, he has produced short films and commercials for organizations such as the Red Cross, Coca-Cola, Kellogg's, Levis, Ford, among others. He also joined the production team of "Escenario 0" for HBO Spain and "By Ana Milán" for AtresPlayer. Recently, he has worked on Marta Nieto's short films, "Vampire Academy" for NBC, and the series "Apagón" and "La Unidad" for Movistar+, as well as "Manual para señoritas" for Netflix. During his training as a producer, he co-wrote the web series "Operación Benicàssim" for Antena 3. In 2019, he premiered his first short film as a director, "Exploradores", which has been selected and awarded at over 30 festivals worldwide. "Violets" is his second short film as a director.
