Doris Tääker was born in Tallinn, Estonia. She works both as a director and 1st assistant director on films and TV series. 2010 - 2013 Tääker studied in Baltic Film and Media Shool, where she became a Bachelor degree film director.
In 2016 she joined Kino Eyes Movie Masters Programme which includes three film schools in Europe: Lusofona University in Lisbon, Edinburgh Napier University and Baltic Film and Media School in Tallinn. She got her Masters Degree in Film Directing in 2018.
Tääker is a member on the Estonian Cinema Association and the Estonian Film Directors Guild.
