Sarah is an actor known for her work on Where the Crawdads Sing (2022); Universal's Renfield (2023) opposite Nicolas Cage, Awkwafina, and Nicholas Hoult; Netflix's We Have a Ghost (2023) working opposite David Harbor; NBC's Chicago PD Blood Relation (2022); Ava Duvernay's Queen Sugar Mid-March 2020 (2021); and Boots Riley's I'm A Virgo It Requires Trust on My Part (2023). Sarah has a lead role in the upcoming horror thriller Shelby Oaks (2024), to be distributed by Neon.
On stage, she's acted in over ten professional shows, including regional premieres of Stupid F***ing Bird, A Doll's House Part 2, and The Wolves.
Sarah is also a bestselling author and journalist. Her first book, The Beginner's Guide To Alchemy, was published in May 2020 by Rockridge Press. Sarah has also written for National Geographic, Smithsonian, WIRED, Atlas Obscura, and Gizmodo, among others.
Sarah grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from NYU where she earned her BA in acting and medieval studies.
