Jaleesa McEachin

Jaleesa McEachin was born in Newark, NJ. She began writing poetry at
the age of nine years old. Her first poem that she performed was "The
World" written with her mother. Jaleesa began acting at the age of
sixteen with the Irvington High School Public Speaking and Drama
classes under the instruction of Mr. Delvecchio. She later attended
Berkeley College where she was a motivational speaker for the United
Way's Celebrity Read. She also was a speaker for other events
throughout Berkeley College. Jaleesa went on to Essex County College
where she participated in the music department while studying Criminal
Justice. Jaleesa published her first book "Poetic Inner Me" in March of
2013. She is currently working on her second book. Jaleesa McEachin is
a Motivational Speaker, Spoken Word Artist, Writer, Poet, Actress,
Author, Singer, Songwriter, and Director.
