Kris Young(II)

Producer and Collaborative Designer Kris Young, after 20+ years experience as a business owner and entrepreneur, made the decision to sell her businesses and pursue her passion of working as an artist. After dabbling in various art forms she quickly fell in love with the art of filmmaking through her longtime friend, Director/Producer Terry Spears. Looking to broaden her horizons within filmmaking, Kris attended film school where she expanded her passion for "the look" of visual storytelling & met her future mentor, Oscar Award Winning Producer Gray Frederickson. Since that time Kris has gone on to produce 4 feature films with all receiving distribution in both the US and worldwide markets.

A natural collaborator, Kris enjoys working with producers, cast, and crew members to execute a creative vision that celebrates the contributions of each person on set. Pairing her knowledge and expertise of the business world with her eye for the artistic detail needed within the visual medium of movie-making, Kris is uniquely suited to create narrative films that are simultaneously entertaining, thought provoking, and profitable while always striving to put the best possible story on the screen, regardless of the films budget.
