Uzair Sipra was born on May 12, 1973, in a small village in Punjab
province and raised in Lahore, Pakistan. His father Zubair Sipra had
been in sports field and earned titles in volleyball and was a big fan
of different styles of combat. Uzair's father sent him to martial arts
school at the age of five where he trained for two months but school
was closed as the Master was shot by robbers.
Uzair Sipra was inspired by his brother Umair Sipra and in 1978 joined him to start Gymnastics right after he stopped training martial arts. Both brothers became the attraction of many sports lovers as both brothers were very flexible and started to perform in various sports events as special performers.
In 1983 Uzair faced heart attack, heat stroke and typhoid at the same time when they went for picnic on a very hot day. He was admitted to a hospital for a month and was strictly forbidden to restart gymnastic.
On his 12th birthday, his late uncle gifted him Jackie Chan's first movie which changed the life direction for Uzair. He started copying Jackie's moves and practiced secretly. Unbelievably he started to improve his health faster than its given time scale.
Uzair restarted gymnastics officially after two years and started wining titles. At this stage he had already started copying and combining Jackie Chan's moves with gymnastics and started learning music. After which he created Kung Fu Rhythm and started to compose and sing on stage with his unique martial arts style with singing and earned a lot of fame in Pakistan.
Uzair was also hired to train Kung Fu to about two thousand students in 1988, and was elected as information secretary for Pakistan Kung Fu Wushu Association and started to work on his first music video. He made his first casting video and reached Hong Kong to meet Jackie Chan in October 1992. Jackie was surprised by his spirit, unfortunately someone stole all of Uzair's money from his guesthouse where he lived three days without food and also couldn't see Jackie as Jackie was away for few days' outdoor shoots. Jackie wrote him a letter along with few gifts and felt sorry for not giving him job in Hong Kong but hoped to see him successful in film business one day.
Uzair continued his journey and worked hard on Kung Fu Rhythm but his motive was to make his place in Hong Kong films. He went to China in 1993 but again his tour was pretty unsuccessful. He kept winning national titles for federation in martial arts and got World Martial Arts Competition invitation from Italy. Due to lack of approach and finance, this opportunity was also lost. Finally he left Pakistan in 2000 to seek his fortune by entering China and got admission in Shaolin Temple and trained there for a month, where he also taught gymnastics. His visa was about to expire and he could not stay in China, it was must for him to enter Hong Kong for an extension. As he entered Hong Kong since then he found a place to stay and that was also his dream.
He tried his luck to meet Jackie Chan again, but due to his shoots in USA in year 2001 Uzair could only meet Steven Ng, manager of casting section. Uzair left his photos but never got a reply which disappointed him. This gave him a new direction, he opened his own company where he could do and prove whatever he could.
He decided to stay in Hong Kong and started meeting different media businessmen. In 2002 he opened his first company as World Martial Arts Media Action Group, where he worked hard and made huge database and collected martial artists of the world and added their interviews to his online magazine. Later in 2003 he converted his company into a media production company where he started producing educational programs and sold in Hong Kong schools.
In late 2005 Uzair decided to start online music TV channel and ran community programs where he got fame and made many business friends and started getting projects from different organizations where his company offered media services. His first documentary project "Drugs" documentary was given to him by Yuen Long Town Hall in 2008. Which built his confidence in entertainment business, and he started to focus on music videos and documentaries. Besides it, he had been studying Cinematography, filming stuff through all these years since he started his company. watching at least 1 movie a day became his part of learning. His inspiration started from John Woo and including Tsui Hark, Steven Spielberg, and many other directors. later combined different directors styles and used his own techniques to create his own style in filming. He usually works 16 hours a day where he always create, modify, do different experiments in filming. His passion is to be a part of the list of unique Directors where he can create and produce films with Drama, Action, Martial Arts, Thrill, Information, could benefit audience by many directions and positive manner along with entertaining stuff. He is looking forward to work with Hong Kong Directors, actors to put his vision into motion pictures to tell many unique untold stories.
