Mehrtash is an award winning Iranian-Canadian writer/director with a Master of Fine Arts in Film Production from York University. Most recently he completed his residency at the coveted Canadian Film Center Directors' Lab.
He views filmmaking as the only method that can satisfy his curiosity about human emotions and interactions. His films are the product of his reflections on seemingly mundane yet nuanced struggles that people grapple with throughout life.
