Michelle Serje is a Colombian Dominican American actor and Voice Over artist from New York. She is first generation and speaks fluent Spanish. Michelle works professionally in VO as a dubbing artist for Netflix in Film and TV including series regular roles on La Casa de las Flores (Season 2 and 3) and Contra Las Cuedras (Season 1). Being the translator and interpreter for her family lead her to build complex communication skills at a young age.
Michelle holds a BFA in Theater and double major in Communication Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University. She is a classically trained actress, under the teachings of Howard Fine (HFAS), Darcy Picoult (NYU), Tom Irwin (Steppenwolf West), and in Alexander Technique (Jennifer Schultz, Nick George)
Upon moving to NY May 2023, Michelle was cast in her first Off Broadway production with in the workshop of the new play EN LAS SOMBRAS by Julliard Fellow Jordan Ramirez Puckett. Michelle was cast in her first regional theatre production as an undergraduate in THE DEAD GUY at Williamston Theater, becoming EMC at 18
Michelle is a fully experienced improv artist, having completed UCB 101-401, Advanced Study, Musical Improv, and Sketch Comedy courses. Michelle currently takes classes with Brooklyn Comedy Collective and creates her own sketch comedy work online.
