Professional trombonist Lamar Guillary hails from Los Angeles, California. Guillary joined his high school marching band at age fifteen in 1997. This subsequently led to a five year stint in the USC marching band. Lamar moved to New York City in 2006 and learned how to master his craft in the Jazz Studies program at The New School. Among the notable artists who Guillary has performed with are Robin Thicke, Busta Rhymes, Jennifer Hudson, Chaka Khan, Earth Wind & Fire, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, T-Pain, Rick Ross, and Postmodern Jukebox. Moreover, Lama also works as a music producer who opened his own music recording studio in Hollywood, California in August, 2010.
