Jared Rider

Jared Paul Rider was born in Reno Nevada, he is the son of Brenda (Bramble) and Monte Paul Rider. Jared is the second of their two children, with an older sister, Marissa. When he was young, the Rider family moved from Reno Nevada, to the small mining and ranching town of Spring Creek Nevada. He was home-schooled by his mother from elementary to middle school, where he studied and excelled in drama and music. He then went on to graduate from Spring Creek High School.

Jared first performed as an actor in multiple community theater productions as a child in Elko, Nevada, before he joined a drama club in middle school. In high school, Jared focused on music, achieving the 1st chair in his high school orchestra, before becoming the Drum Major in his local marching band. His sophomore year, he attended an open call for hair models in Las Vegas, Nevada where he was chosen out of 1,500 men to participate in L'Oréal Redken's Arsenal of Men.

Though he had no formal acting training, Jared decided to graduate high school early, moving to Los Angeles at 17 where he rigorously studied and segued into an acting career, appearing first in many acclaimed short films, before being cast in Scandal on ABC, and eventually landing a recurring role in Eva Longoria's Grand Hotel.
