Michael Maggiani is a Boston-based actor and food stylist, originally from Quincy, MA. Though an avid film buff and amateur musician, he built a career as an executive chef working throughout Massachusetts. He has studied acting in Boston and New York, with notable teachers, Jock MacDonald, Fran Weinberg, Kimberly Graham, Shorey Walker, Kevin Lasit and Lynda Robinson. Since then, he has immersed himself in the New England acting community and is a strong supporter of local films, filmmakers and legislation supporting the industry.
As a featured actor, he has appeared in feature films, American Hustle, The Finest Hours, Purge III, and Sex Tape. He has acted in a number of independent films, Lightkeepers, Don't Call Me Marty, Delightfully Delicious, and It's Christmas Time and in the TV web series, Family Problems and The Over Easy Courthouse Café. He has also worked on various commercials, and corporate videos.
Michael has also worked on the production side of films. His work as a classically trained chef and food stylist can be seen in the award-winning documentary, "God Knows Where I Am", produced and directed by Academy Award winners, Todd and Jedd Wider, and cinematographer, Gerardo Puglia.
He is now a producer, music supervisor and actor at Little Lion Productions in Duxbury, MA.
He resides in Rexhame, Marshfield, MA.
