Born in Los Angeles, California Cameron Burnett is an award-winning filmmaker. He studied Film and Television Production at the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts. While in high school, he premiered his first film, The Bench, at the Oscar qualified, Foyle Film Festival. The Bench then went on to receive Official Selections at more than 35 film festivals winning awards at 8. Cameron's second film Alibi premiered at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. Alibi then went on to receive official selections at more than 10 festivals around the world.
In the world of Television, Cameron is developing the French science-fiction classic, The Night of Time, with MGM and The New York Times Bestseller, I'm Not Dying With You Tonight, with Warner Brothers. Burnett's Prominent Productions banner has also partnered with Kevin Hart and Hartbeat on a television adaptation of the 2002 cult comedy classic, Barbershop.
