Karine was born in Montreal, Quebec on October 2, 1980 to a Canadian
soldier Michel Turcot and a stay-at-home mother, artist Linda Laveau.
By the age of four, her father Michel Turcot was posted in another
country. They moved in Germany in 1984. To be more exact, in the valley
of the Black Forest, Wittelbach. She thought it was a magical place
since her sister Rebecca Turcot was born in Germany on December 4th,
1984. She loved to eat cherries from the trees as her family walked
through the mountain. They had lunch once at the Gasthaus (restaurant).
In her young age, she used to do some entertaining on stage in German,
English and French. She was the only French little girl in the village.
She never got the chance to see the fall of the Berlin wall ... Her
family came back in Canada in 1988...
She gave birth to a young boy on January 3rd 2003, from a long-term relationship shared with Patrick Beauchemin. Mikahel Turcot-Beauchemin, who is now 10 years old. He's also an actor he played in the movie 1981, did a McDonald's ad called "Little Diver ", etc. He wants to be a scientist and astrophysicist. As a kid Karine dreamed of becoming an archaeologist, but soon she became an artist. Painting, drawing and acting are skills that she will not regret having. High school drama classes were a real revelation to her. Since than she's been acting.
