- Evan Daniel Davis is an Award Winning Filmmaker and Comedian B'H. Evan Daniel Davis is an observant Jew who brings Kiddushe HaShem and Torah and Mitzvot to his projects.
Raised in the Main Line Suburbs of Philadelphia, he was always entertaining and creating skits. As a youth, he would perform skits and do impressions at friend and family parties. For fun, he would act out action movie scenes that he created. He would also create story lines with his action figures.
From a very young age, he was identified as having a gifted level IQ and was entered into the Challenge Gifted Program in school. Evan Daniel Davis loved movies and television from a very young age.. From Elementary School through High School he loved to entertain and would often create elaborate skits for school projects. He was even picked to give the graduation speech in Elementary School.
During school he also was passionate about Sport, and played competitive sports including Roller Hockey, Baseball, and Track. He would often play pick up Street Hockey games with his friends either using real hockey nets or two garbage cans. He would also play pickup basketball or football games with friends.
He would be voted the Co-President of the World Affairs Club and served as Co-President his senior year.
During College, he majored in Communications at the University of Pittsburgh, and his Senior year he Co-Founded the Campus Sports Television Station, Panther Sports Network. Though Davis saw himself primarily as an On-Air Talent, he picked up the many skills needed to be a Director while working off camera as well as behind the camera. In addition to Sport, Davis also acted in an Improv Comedy TV show, which acted out crime reports from the Campus Newspaper. A Comedian at heart, he would often make people laugh and interact with people in a way to even just make himself laugh.
At the University of Pittsburgh he also had an interest in fitness and also took a course both in Ju-Jitsu and Kickboxing.
After graduating he would work both in Broadcasting and Digital Sports as well as Consulting in the Office World in such roles as Project Management after college. In addition he would train in Boxing and Krav Maga.
He would eventually earn his Master's Degree in Sport Management as well.
Davis eventually decided to make the switch to Entertainment. He initially started off as an Actor and Improv Comedian. After having an inspirational moment he realized he should be creating his own content and become a Filmmaker.
He eventually would complete Level 1 of Comedy Improv at the Pittsburgh Improv Theatre in Pittsburgh, Pa, as well as level 2 of Comedy Improv at the Philadelphia Improv Theatre in Philadelphia, Pa. During his time learning Level 1 Improv he performed at a show midway through the training.
He would also eventually start a number of businesses as an Entrepreneur.
While in college, although he was in the Sport industry, he always say himself as an Entertainer first. After making the move to Entertainment, as a Comedian and Performance Artist, Davis started creating his own content beginning with a comedy TV project entitled "The Legend of Evan". Davis Directed his first Short Film entitled "Bizzarro Bill". Davis would eventually Direct his first Documentary entitled "I Am A Dancer" which won multiple awards in the Film Festival circuit, including in the Director Category. "I Am A Dancer" would stream on Prime Video and Tubi TV. Davis would then Write, Direct, and Produce the Comedy Special,"Stand Up Comedy", premiering on Prime Video. "Stand Up Comedy" would spend the majority of the first 3 weeks of release in the top 4 spots on Prime Video's Stand Up Comedy, including time in the number 1, 2, and 3, spots. "Stand Up Comedy" would eventually return to that top spot in all of Prime Video under the category of "Stand-Up Comedy". B"H.
