A new season of Outer Banks has arrived on Netflix… or at least part of it. For the first time, Netflix is releasing a new season of its hit drama in two parts with season 4’s first five episodes streaming now and the second five episodes of the season coming on Nov. 7.

Season 4 begins by catching us up on what the Pogues were up to after finding the gold at El Dorado and returning to the Obx before the 18-month time jump that occurred in the season 3 finale when the group was celebrated for their find and approached about finding Blackbeard’s treasure. If you thought the Pogues finding El Dorado would be enough to keep them out of the game for long, you’d be mistaken. Also in attendance at the premiere that night were co-stars Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Carlacia Grant, Austin North, Cullen Moss and Deion Smith.

Earlier in the day, the cast of the series stepped out for a photo call at the Pineapple Fountain, which Drew was noticeably absent from.

Drew has also been busy lately promoting his upcoming movie Queer, with his latest appearance at the New York Film Festival earlier this week, alongside co-star Daniel Craig and director Luca Guadagnino.

Outer Banks season four part one will consist of the first five episodes of the season and premieres This Thursday (October 10) on Netflix.

Of course the Pogues aren’t just going to celebrate a win and be content to lead normal lives. If that were true, there wouldn’t be much to Outer Banks season four. The teaser for the upcoming season warns that they’ve got everything to lose and promises this will be their biggest adventure to date.

“Following last season’s 18-month flash-forward showing Wes Genrette’s proposal for the Pogues to find Blackbeard’s treasure, Season 4 takes us back in time to the lead-up of that moment. After finding the gold at El Dorado, the Pogues return to the Obx and commit to having a ‘normal’ life. “Outer Banks” is about to embark on its biggest adventure to date: finding Blackbeard’s treasure. And Netflix has shared a first teaser and several first look images to celebrate the occasion.

The fourth season of the Netflix original will premiere its first five episodes on Oct. 10 followed by five more episodes on Nov. 7.

Season 3 ended with a flash-forward 18 months into the future that showed the Pogues being commended for finding El Dorado, the lost city of gold. In that season’s final moments, a man approached the friends and asked them if they would be interested in finding the lost treasure of Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard. MTV announced that the new season of “The Challenge,” subtitled “Spies, Lies and Allies,” will premiere on Aug. 11.

Paramount Plus released a teaser for the second season of “Evil,” which premieres on June 20.

The series centers on skeptical forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), who joins soon-to-be Catholic priest David (Mike Colter) and contractor Ben (Aasif Mandvi) to investigate the church’s mysterious happenings and determine if there is a logical explanation, or if something truly supernatural is at work.

In the show’s second season, Kristen struggles to confront the dark side of herself after killing a man, while David is met with temptation and Ben is visited by night terrors that prey on his greatest fears.
