Elicia's acting career was discovered in 2000 when she met Joseph Behar an American Television Director and Acting Coach. She has studied acting technique, Audition skills, Reading, Understanding and Interpetating Scripts, Memorizing, Developing Characters and Conveying Emotion, difference accents and Shakespeare. Elicia takes weekly acting, improvisational classes and studied, face to body, to emotional acting and can portray different types of accents. She has taken acting workshops throughout the years like The Craft Acting Studio in Las Vegas.
Elicia Stokes Navarro was born in Chicago, Illinois in a rough neighborhood, with a rough up bringing. She participated in many sports including Track and Field, Swim Teams, Dance classes, Cheerleading, and Wrestling. Elicia was once legally blind, yet refused to let that stop her from fulfilling her dream of becoming an actor. In 2000 She had surgery which fixed her right eye. She is still blind in the left eye which is a glass eye. Elicia enjoys working with animals, gardening, kids, helping the Elderly and loves to dance. She enjoys jogging, running, yoga, karate, kick Boxing. She also likes cooking.
