Cassandra Tusa

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Cassandra enjoyed putting on performances for her family since a young age. It is through this "playtime", she believes, where she first caught the acting bug. Her interest in acting continued as she got older; therefore, she became involved in theatre at school. As a result, she was a part of 3 productions and other videos her friends and her put together. Cassandra has been fortunate to have had some great film experiences in acting in roles in Independent films as a Lead role in Seed, Back Track Web Series, a role as a Zombie in SERE, A ghost in "I Was Here" and more Cassandra booked a speaking role in a PSA for the David Foster Foundation where she flew to Toronto to film. Cassandra also booked a role in the Feature Film "Wait Till Helen Comes" filmed in Winnipeg. Starring Sophie Nelisse and Maria Bello.

Cassandra was also nominated for a National acting award "Joey Award" in Vancouver, BC for her role in Rob What which premiered in Winnipeg at the WNDX film festival and premiered in Switzerland October 16th, 2014.

Cassandra's role of Jenny in Jenny & Jeff brought many accolades. Cassandra has won a Young Artist award in Hollywood for Best Teen Actress - New Media Performance , Best Child Actress at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Gold award for Best Leading Actress at the International Independent Film Awards in Los Angeles, California and Joey Award (National Acting award) Best Young Actress in a Web-Based Series in Vancouver BC as well as nominated for a Young Entertainer Award in Hollywood for Best Teen Actress Web performance and Best Young Leading Actress in a Drama Series at the LA WebFest for Jenny & Jeff.
