Indiana's mentors include Rosa Guerrero (CINE Golden Eagle Award), Hector Serrano (Artistic Director of
VIVA El Paso!) and Neil Hess (Artistic Director of TEXAS Musical Drama and Founder of Lone Star Ballet)
who studied choreography under the great George Balanchine and mentored Indiana in the same
discipline. Indiana studied American Ballet and Theatre at West Texas A&M University under Neil Hess,
where he earned a BFA (Ballet, Cum Laude) and MA (Dance/Public Speaking). He has appeared as a
Principal/Soloist Dancer/Actor with the Lone Star Ballet, VIVA El Paso!, TEXAS Musical Drama, Rio
Grande Ballet and several stage shows in Las Vegas, NV.
Indiana utilizes his experience as a Ballet Dancer, Oil Field Roughneck, Working Cowboy, Real
Estate Special Agent, Master Bartender, Choreographer and Amateur Pugilist to give personality and
character to the roles he plays on TV. As a Mexican-American he brings a unique perspective and
cultural understanding to his performances. He reads, writes, and speaks fluent Spanish and is often
called upon for his colorful Mexican, Cowboy, and Southern accents.
