Angela Benitez-Getz is a writer, actor, and director known for her work on 6 Degrees of Ella (2020), Black Is the New Brown (2018), I Can't Help you (2018), Still here, (2018), The Charlie Cure (2016), Body Complications (2015), What Is Momo? (2015) and I Love You To Death (2011). She was born in Brooklyn, New York, is a first-generation Paraguayan-American, fluent in Spanish, and has lived in Paraguay a few times throughout her life. In 2008, Angela was scouted by Atlantic Records after being noticed at an industry showcase, she went on to complete an Audio Engineer degree, classes at the Stella Adler Conservatory, and took time to nurture theater arts and education. In 2012, she traveled to Los Angeles to audition for Garry Marshall and moved to Los Angeles. She is a graduate of The Second City and UCLA Writer's Program Scholarship Recipient (2015). She is based bi-coastal between New York City and Los Angeles.
