Rajendra Thakurathi

Rajendra Thakurathi is a writer, director and producer. He is recognized for his work in blending fantasy and humor. A graduate of USC School of Cinematic Arts, he got his early storytelling roots from Pixar, BuzzFeed and NYTimes. He has previous experiences from films like 20th Century Fox's sleeper-hit Barbarian (2022), Disney Pixar's Onward (2020) and Arcadian (Nicolas Cage). He was featured as a "Filmmakers to Watch" in Cinephilia & Beyond, and his films have played at various festivals, My Claire (2016) being the subject of an Oxford University journal article.
