Natalie is a professionally trained actress and dancer. She began her career training with the world renowned Shiamak Davar Dance Company. It was there that she became well-versed in choreography, developing an affinity for the stage and a fascination for filmmaking techniques. At that very moment is was clear Natalie had been bitten by the acting bug, instilling a deep passion for the intimacy of what film and television has to offer.
Since then, Natalie has chosen to improve her formal studies by attending both West Humber Collegiate, receiving the Drama Award, and York University where she graduated with a B.A Honours in Cinema and Media studies in April 2016. She has since expanded her knowledge, studying a variety of different film genres, acquiring an in-depth appreciation of film from early cinema to contemporary. To further develop her acting chops Natalie has studied under the following prestigious acting schools and programs; Armstrong Acting Studios, Second City, Sears Switzer, Robyn Kay and the renowned Indian school, Actor Prepares to name a few.
Natalie's charisma and free-spirited attitude to perform wherever the arts will take her, led Ms. DP to participate in a variety of performance-based shows, which include pageants, participating as a contestant for Miss Universe Canada 2013. Her presence within the modeling and fashion world has helped for a smooth transition into film and television, securing her a role on an episode of 'Little Mosque on the Prairie', as well as lead roles in the following short films, "Sweet Coffee", "Mirrors Don't Lie", and "The Gift!" (Film festival winner). She played the lead role in a feature film, "Bloody Romeo (2021)" which received global recognition at numerous International Film Festivals. Natalie has shown a unique naturalism to her approach as an actor reacting off of pure instincts, combined with a relentless attitude to win. Her work ethic, dedication to the craft backed by a strong will and spirit to succeed will no doubt move her up in the ranks where she is also working towards becoming a film producer as well. Natalie divides her time between Toronto and New York City.
