After giving a generation of horror fans nightmare fuel with Fright Night and Child's Play, Tom Holland returns to the director's chair with Rock, Paper, Scissors, a new horror movie co-written by Kerry Fleming and Victor Miller (1980's Friday the 13th). Featuring a serial killer who likes to play twisted games, Rock, Paper, Scissors is coming to Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital/VOD on July 23rd from Lionsgate, and we've been provided with the official images, trailer, and cover art to share with Daily Dead readers.

Ghost Walk Studios & 333 Productions have announced Staci Layne Wilson as the director of their upcoming horror feature Dead Slate.

Dead Slate takes the audience behind the scenes of a slasher film production and follows the stereotypical cast as they are stalked by a masked psychopath who slays in homage to classic cinematic murder set pieces. Max Wasa (Death House) will star as Sammie Borden, the film’s director of the movie-within-a-movie, and Brooke Lewis (iMurders) will portray Captain Lisa Jones. John Dugan (the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre) and Anna Margaret (Rock Paper Dead) round out the leads. Other cast include Shanda Renee (Raising Helen), Raelynn Harper (Demi Lovato’s Sorry Not Sorry music video), and Luke Gregory Crosby (Maximum Ride).

Holland will be joined by a horror dream team of talent that includes Emmy-nominated Vincent Guastini (Requiem for a Dream, “Saturday Night Live”), who will provide special makeup effects, along with the film’s co-writer Victor Miller (Friday the 13) and composer Harry Manfredini (Friday the 13).
