Debasish Mondal(II)

Debasish Mondal is an Indian actor who primarily works in Hindi and Bengali films. He has played various lead roles in television series and films in Bengali as well as Hindi film industry. He is mostly known for portraying the role of Mandaar in the web series named after his character. Debasish did his schooling from Kanchrapara Harnett High School before joining Rishi Bankim Chandra Mahavidyalay college to complete his BSc. He is also a graduate of the National School of Drama with diploma in dramatic arts with acting specialization.

Debasish started his career as a theater actor in 2004. He acted in many plays and worked with eminent national and international directors. He made his debut in the film industry by playing a crucial role in a critically acclaimed film Children of War, followed by a series of projects, including Antarleen, Family Man, The Eken, among others. He rose to fame by playing the character of Mandaar in the web series named after his character in 2021. His roles in Shikarpur, Mahabharat Murders, Amriter Sandhane, Dibakerer Adbhut Canvas, Abar Proloy, Pradhan and Raktabeej further shot him into the limelight, making him a well-reputed actor on the big screen.
