In his real life, James Pickering QC is a barrister and Deputy High Court Judge. His alter ego, however, has an occasional go at acting, producing and songwriting.
On the small screen, James presented Devil's Advocate on Red TV and What's The Story? on Legal TV.
On the slightly larger screen, in the football crime caper, What's the Score? (2014), James appeared (in character) as the smooth-talking lawyer. More recently, in the National Film Awards nominated Lucas and Albert (2019), he appeared (totally out of character) as the cockney busker.
