Shows such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have clocked in more than 10 years and are still going strong where the TRPs are concerned. This week, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai raked in a Trp of 3.0, while Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 got 2.9. Tarak Mehta ka Oolta Chashma secured 2.3.

Saath Nibhana Saathiya producer Rashmi Sharma says that it is challenging to keep a show relevant for so many years.

"It is difficult to sustain but when you have a strong team, good story line and talented actors, it becomes easy.

The viral rap video created by engineer-turned-musician Yashraj Mukhate features a TV show dialogue (Saath Nibhana Saathiya) turned into a song. The scene, recreated in the video, has Kokilaben (Rupal Patel), Gopi Bahu (Giaa Manek) and Rashi bahu (Richa Hasabnis) engaged in a heated discussion over an empty cooker on a gas stove. The popular TV show 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' went off the air in 2017.
