Julien is a classically-trained pianist, having graduated from the Nancy Conservatoire in 2007. In 2012 he obtained a master's degree in music and sound engineering from the the National Conservatoire of Paris (CNSMDP) where he also studied writing, keyboard harmony and movie scoring.
His activities include recording, production and mixing, whilst in parallel composing, arranging and playing the piano for cinema and contemporary dance with composers such as Thomas Dappelo and Armand Amar.
He often can be seen live with the likes of Eric Serra, Sophie Hunger, Frank Woeste at the Festival of Sacred Music in Fez, at the Francofolies at la Rochelle, at the Grand Théâtre du Luxembourg and at the Salle Pleyel.
