Darius wanted to be an archaeologist. In 1999 he received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Anthropology/Archaeology from Michigan State University.
Donavan Darius is a war veteran. He served six years in the U.S. Navy from 1988 - 1994 and served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Provide Comfort while attached to F-14 Fighter Squadron VF-41 "Black Aces" aboard the USS Roosevelt.
