Arun Ketsirat is a Thai-Australian filmmaker, who investigates female identities in a cross-cultural context. Born and raised in a remote rural village in North-East Thailand, Arun arrived in Australia at 16 with limited English, she found her voice through visual media.
Her social impact documentary Bigger Than Boobs won the Asia Pacific Screen Award Brisbane Short Film Fund (2018), a place in DocEdge Kolkata pitching incubation (2019), and is in post-production for its feature-length version. PTSD Love Stories (2022) feature documentary won Screen Queensland Completion Fund, and its half-hour version was released on ABC Compass in 2021. She worked in the Assistant Directing team on Ron Howard's Thirteen Lives (2022) and produced Epilogue (2022), an observational documentary about life and death, which premiered at the Brisbane International Film Festival.
She is a founding partner of Seeding Time Pictures, a Brisbane and Bali-based production company that celebrates diverse and authentic voices to communicate stories that matter.
