Chetan Bahadur Singh

Enticed by the power of cinema and fascinated by its making process, Chetan Singh joined the world of moving images as an assistant editor at an early age of eighteen. After finishing his basic training in the local newsrooms of Hyderabad, he moved to Bombay to study editing at Whistling Woods International film school. Starting off as an assistant to highly respected editors and directors such as Sankalp Meshram, Jabeen Merchant, he has gained knowledge and experience in cinema. Working in the editing teams of different projects such as UTV's Connected Hum Tum, A documentary reality show, Gora, A TV show for DD India, Kaagaz Ki Kashti, A documentary biopic of Late Jagjit Singh, he has polished his art. With a curiosity to explore more, he has ventured into direction with his debut movie, On the blue canvas.
