Kevin Pardo is an award-winning film producer from Lake Forest, CA. While pursuing a business degree from Cal State Fullerton, with an emphasis in Entertainment Management, he got his start by producing short films with some of the university's film students. All of his short films have premiered at film festivals, with a few having won multiple awards. His short film, Committed, won 4 categories at the Los Angeles Movie Awards & 1 award at the Boston Film Festival. In 2019, he co-founded the production company, Cult Cinema, and produced their first feature length film titled "Curse of Aurore".
"Curse of Aurore" was first acquired by Vincenzo Guzzo of Cinémas Guzzo Les Films for the Canadian Territory. Vincenzo Guzzo, aka. Mr. Sunshine of CBC's Hit Show "Dragons' Den", gave the film a Limited Theatrical Release throughout his own personal theater chain in Québec, as well as, a few theaters owned by Les Cinémas Ciné Entreprise. Opening weekend placed the film #1 Overall in the Box Office for all Cinémas Guzzo Theaters and #4 Overall in the Box Office throughout all of Québec. The film maintained the #1 Overall spot at the Box Office for Cinémas Guzzo Theaters in it's first 3 consecutive weeks, while placing #5 & #9 in its' 2nd and 3rd weeks at the Box Office for all of Québec. Currently, in Canada, the film is exclusively streaming on the Cinémas Guzzo streaming platform.
"Curse of Aurore" was then acquired by Freestyle Digital Media for the United States Territory. On 01/12/2021, Freestyle premiered the film digitally on major media platforms such as iTunes, Amazon Prime, Google Play, Vudu, YouTube Movies, Fandango Now, Playstation Store, Xbox, Hoopla, Fios by Verizon, Dish Network, DirecTV. They also made physical DVD's available to purchase online from Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Best Buy.
When Kevin is not producing films, he is a freelance Post-Production Coordinator and works for major television companies such as Netflix, CBS, ABC, Showtime etc. His first gig was on the Award Winning Netflix Limited Series "Unbelievable", which won the 2019 Peabody Award in Entertainment & "TV Program of the Year" at the AFI Awards. The show was also nominated for 4 Emmy's, 4 Golden Globes, 4 Critic's Choice, and 14 other nominations. Since then, he's worked on an unaired pilot for ABC Studios, Season 7 of the hit Showtime series "Ray Donovan", & the upcoming Netflix Series "The Sandman".
As of 2020, Kevin has become a member of the Producers Guild of America.
