Lorena Fernández is an award-winning actress from Spain, celebrated for her mysterious depth and captivating authenticity on screen. Born in Ibi, Alicante, a town known for its toy industry, Lorena was raised in a family dedicated to the toy manufacturing business, led by her parents, Gertrudis and Gabriel. The only daughter among four siblings, she later moved to Almería, where her grandmother Antonia's vivid stories and the Andalusian landscapes that once served as the backdrop for iconic Spaghetti Westerns fueled her passion for acting.
With a Master's in Art History and two Film degrees, Lorena has built a diverse career spanning theater, dance, and filmmaking. Her time in New Mexico further enriched her artistic vision, where she acted in and directed award-winning projects, including the short film Dance of the Books, which won multiple awards at Oscar-qualifying festivals and was presented for Academy consideration. She has appeared in Odd Thomas, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and This Is Us, and stars as Lucia in the upcoming feature Breaking Point. Now based in Los Angeles, Lorena brings a unique blend of vulnerability and fiery intensity to every role, with a remarkable ability to uncover light in the darkest corners of her characters, making her a standout in the global industry.
