Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) joyride with Cody (Josh Kelly) ended with her being dropped off blocks away from her house, and when she arrived, she knew to grab the spare key from under a rock on the porch. As soon as she made her way inside, she was stopped by a curious James (Gary James Fuller). While Lulu wondered who he was, James wondered what she was doing in his house, eventually alerting his mom of “stranger danger.”

By the time Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) came running out with bats, Lulu was gone and James was being blamed for crying wolf. But once Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) cracked the case with his trusty video footage, they learned a hooded woman did indeed come into their home.

Ever since that forbidden kiss on the Fourth of July, they have been having an emotional affair. The night they went to Drew’s office after Congressman Larry McConkey’s (Sam McMurray) death, they acted on their feelings toward each other, and things got heated.

Willow is married to Drew’s nephew, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and while at least Willow seems to feel some guilt over the situation, Drew is perfectly dandy and appears to lack remorse.

Of course, Willow isn’t blameless, either. She lied to her husband about what happened between her and Drew, and Drew also lied to Michael’s face, claiming that he and Willow shared nothing more than a kiss.

2024 has been a rough year for General Hospital and the actors who work on the hit ABC soap.

Casting changes have taken over, and the canvas that once was Port Charles looks unfamiliar.

Some actors who left were expected, and some were newer additions who didn’t hold the weight of the other goodbyes.

However, when more than a few long-term actors leave, there begins questions about what the end goal is and what direction General Hospital is headed in.

General Hospital is the last remaining ABC soap, and I was shocked when it was chosen to continue. All My Children and One Life to Live were much better, in my opinion, though I had watched all three for decades.

Now, it seems there could be trouble for the long-running soap as many viewers are still reeling from recent casting decisions.

Typically, cast members and the show don’t comment on exits and casting decisions, but that changed when Chad announced his exit on his social media channels.

The actor has played the plum role of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer‘s (Laura Wright) son since April 2010.

Duell replaced Drew Garrett as Michael and won a Daytime Emmy in 2015 for Best Supporting Actor. He posted an Instagram message announcing his departure from the soap early Saturday afternoon.

Port Charles was filled with emotions on the day of Sam’s (ex-Kelly Monaco) funeral. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) received support from Cody (Josh Kelly) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), while Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) helped Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) prepare for the funeral. Ric (Rick Hearst) arrived to support Molly and Alexis lashed out at her ex. Tj (Tajh Bellow) also arrived and made things right with Molly.

After a nearly 15-year run as Michael Corinthos on “General Hospital,” actor Chad Duell announced on Saturday that he has decided to exit the daytime drama series, stating the decision wasn’t an easy one, “but it feels like the right time in my life.”

In his full statement posted to his Instagram, Duell said, “After many incredible years with ‘General Hospital,’ I’ve decided to step away from the show. Another long-term General Hospital star is exiting Port Charles.

Just as viewers were dealt a blow with Kelly Monaco’s exit as Sam McCall, another Port Charles staple, is leaving the set.

Today, Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) announced he was stepping away from the ABC soap after 14 years in the role.

He talked about it being the “right time” in his life to step away. There was no context for why he chose to walk away, but he recently welcomed a baby with his girlfriend.

Currently, Michael is involved in one of the hot-button storylines on the ABC soap. The character needs to continue, which begs whether a recast will step in immediately.

As of now, Chad has not revealed his final air date.
