Leon Sheen is an actor, martial artist, dancer, and stuntman from the beautiful city of Honolulu, Hawai'i.
He began his journey in martial arts, where he was trained by his father, Bill Sheen, and his uncles in multiple styles of Chinese Kung Fu. These included Tai Chi Praying Mantis, Hung Gar, Wing Chun, and Bak Mei. Leon's father is a former Hong Kong actor and stuntman, who inspired Leon to dive into the film industry.
Leon became actively involved in theatre and short films in high school, where he was often cast in a variety of comedic and dramatic roles. He studied and competed in the Japanese martial art of Judo during this time. He was a board member of his school's ballroom dance club and studied various dance styles such as Salsa, Cha-cha, Merengue, Tango, and Hip hop.
During college, he would progress to larger productions like Danny and The Deep Blue Sea, originally written by award-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley, where Leon played the titular character; and the television series Hawaii Five-0 (2010), where he was the stand-in and photo double for Masi Oka from season 4 through 7.
Memorable roles include "Ko Chua" in Magnum P.I. (2018), "Shogo Oda" in NCIS: Hawai'i (2021), "Sub-Zero" in the Mortal Kombat fan film Sub-Zero vs Scorpion (2021), and "Spencer" in the award-winning horror-comedy short Microwave Coven (2023), the latter of which he also co-produced.
Sought after for his friendly island boy demeanor and professional aptitude, Leon strives for truthful performances in his acting as well as quick precision in his action work.
When not on set, Leon enjoys gastronomy, raves, comics, philosophical talks, and MMA / boxing! He resides in Los Angeles.
