Andrew Lenard is a Polish-born actor, filmmaker, and mathematician known for blending his passion for cinema with a deep love for mathematics. Born in Opole, Poland, Lenard moved to the United States at age twenty, inspired by Sylvester Stallone's iconic performance in *Rocky*. He initially pursued a modeling career in Poland but soon transitioned to film and academia after arriving in America in 2004.
Lenard began his academic journey at LaGuardia Community College in New York City, where he also swam competitively with the LaGuardia Twisters swim club. He later earned a swimming scholarship to the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky, where he studied mathematics and communications, producing short films shown at the Tri-County Cineplex in Corbin, KY.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Lenard pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, all while nurturing his passion for storytelling. In 2011, he wrote and produced a screenplay based on his life titled *I'm An-Jay*.
Lenard is the creator behind several successful film projects, including music videos and short films that explore human experiences through unique lenses. His work gained widespread recognition when his music video *Blessed Are The Merciful* reached over a million views on YouTube and became the best-watched version during the 2016 World Youth Days in Kraków.
Currently, Lenard is working on his most ambitious project to date: a feature-length biopic titled *Banach Space*. The film centers on Stefan Banach, a 20th-century mathematical genius whose work revolutionized modern mathematics. The script, which Lenard spent five years researching and developing, intertwines Banach's groundbreaking mathematical discoveries with the rich historical backdrop of Lviv, Poland (now Ukraine).
When not behind the camera, Lenard works as a college mathematics professor, constantly merging his two great loves: the precision of mathematics and the art of storytelling.
