Andrew Pish is a comedian and actor in Los Angeles. He has been improvising since 2009, and has performed in over seven-hundred shows around the country and in LA at iO West, UCB, Second City, and the Lyric Hyperion. Andrew's performed in comedy festivals across the country including the Hawaii Improvaganza Comedy Festival, Austin's Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, and the Red Rocks Comedy Festival in Utah. He's been improvising with his team, Stormchaser, for eight years. Andrew produced the long-running, main-stage iO West improv show Doctor Who Live where he and a team improvised full episodes of Doctor Who.
Andrew's been on multiple dating shows and hasn't found eternal love. He's tried really hard to get handstands down and is trying to figure out out yoga. In his free time, Andrew enjoys getting outside, exploring new places, reading, and writing.
Andrew was born in San Antonio, TX to Patricia and Robert Pish, the youngest of six children. In San Antonio, he discovered his love of the San Antonio Spurs, breakfast tacos, and the Lord of the Rings. Andrew then went to the University of Texas at Austin where he got a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Bored by a summer internship at a naval research laboratory, Andrew decided to take an improv comedy class, and this is where discovered his love of performing. For three years, while he was finishing his engineering degree, Andrew performed improv regularly, acted in plays, convinced the UT theater program to let him take acting classes, and took voice lessons from a professional opera singer. When he graduated with his degree, he made the easy choice - to leave his degree behind and move to Los Angeles.
