Brennan Muccillo

Brennan Muccillo has been making films in Melbourne for the better part of 10 years, after producing & directing a handful of shorts, and seeing what could come to be, it came time to take on the challenge of producing an independent feature film. After raising a bare bones budget Brennan put together a team of strong filmmaking talent made up of his peers & collaborators he's met across his journey in the film making space. Brennan hopes to inspire other up and coming film-makers that it can be done down here in Aus.

Brennan is a strong arts and design professional with an Advanced Diploma of Screen & Media focused in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Footscray City Films.

Since leaving Footscray City Films, Brennan has directed five independent productions ranging in genres from stoner comedy to gritty crime drama, which include a short film that was a finalist at the Sunshine Film Festival titled "Super Stevie" & television pilot for the soon to be produced Australian comedy "Addicted"

Brennan's debut, Australian new wave feature film titled "Brunswick Dance Club" is now on YouTube Movies and is coming soon to DVD & Blu Ray. BDC was featured at both the Melbourne & Sydney Lift Off Film Festivals & selected for the Hybrid Genre Film awards in 2023.

Brennan is now in pre production for his sophomore feature, this time an 80's inspired slasher film titled "Black Sun"
