- JW Halloway is an actor, VO artist, presenter and radio personality based in Dubai. He has studied under acting coach Miranda Davidson since 2010 and has completed workshops with Hollywood acting coach Michelle Danner and improv acting coach Christopher Biewer.
In November 2011, he was featured in the short film "Paradise Falls" directed by Nizar Sfair for the 48-Hour Film Project Dubai. The film won five awards in the local competition and was featured in the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner 2012, in addition to entering the Short Film Competition at Abu Dhabi Film Festival 2012. Halloway immediately followed up with an Arabic-speaking guest appearance in the first two seasons of the hit TV series "04" (Zero Four) on the pan-Arab MBC4 satellite channel. The show is set in Dubai and tells the tale of four young Arab men living together in a villa; it was signed for two more seasons in 2012.
In January 2012, he played his first lead role in "Visa Run," a short film produced by the Abu Dhabi Film Commission and twofour54 for their "Aflam Qaseera" initiative, which was added to the Marche du Film at Cannes Film Festival 2012. He has also appeared in films such as Samah Al Kadi's "Red & White Pills," Rezek Saadeh's "Broken Strings" (NYFA Abu Dhabi), Mustafa Karasu's "Above the Line" TV pilot, Oluseyi Anthony's "Cloud of Steam" (SAE Institute Dubai), Jac Mulder's "Nine Days to Fall" (Muddville Productions) and Nizar Sfair's "The Feeder" (48 Hour Film Project - Dubai 2012).- IMDb Mini Biography By: JW Halloway
