Wade Hallson is a native of Orange County, but was born in the city of Chicago, Illinois. His passion for
acting began at the early age of nine when he performed as the Lion in
the Wizard of Oz at the Pacific School of Music and the Arts, in Costa
Mesa, California. During his high school years, he devoted most of his
time performing in several full-length theater productions. Eager to
pursue training, he studied drama at the University of California in
Irvine and performed in a wide range of shows every year, including
"Waiting For Godot" as Vladimir, "Le Misanthrope" as Acaste, "Macbeth"
as Malcolm, and much more.
He developed a love for Stanislavski's work and Michael Chekhov's principles, which he studied in depth. He furthered his training at the Moscow Arts Theater Summer program in Boston, and he also traveled abroad to England to study Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University.
After graduation from UCI with a BA in drama, he has finally begun his film career in Los Angeles and he has been attending the Stephen Book Workshop with Larry Drake since May 2012. He has participated in several short films and continues to work in theater and film to advance his career.
