Stephyn Phillips aka S. BlizZzard was born, on November 13, 1986, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up in England. At the age of twelve, he gained an affinity for filmmaking, and began pursuing a carer to create films.
He is an avid film scholar, and specialize in cinema genres and their sub-genres most notably; Film Noirs, Thrillers, Horrors, and Sci-Fi themed.
Still crafting his cinema style, he likes to use elements; multi-layered storytelling style, visual metaphors, exploration of characters and emotional tolls, dreams, spirals (physical, visual, and metaphoric). The number thirteen, reflections (physical, mental, and visual), dark tones, red heads, and the use of color theory (to display an feeling and subtext).
Additionally, He uses the psychology of body language, facial expressions, and the notion of the "ID", "Ego", and "Alter-Ego", to develop his characters arcs, traits, and ticks.
Some notable inspiration and style of directors he draws from are, Quentin Tarantino, Roman Polanski, James Wan, Robert Rodriguez, Christopher Nolan, Alfred Hitchcock, Nicolas Winding Refn, and Guillermo Del Toro.
