Les Twins are identical twin brothers, Laurent and Larry Bourgeois. They began their career as New Style Hip-Hop dancers in Sarcelles, France. The dynamic duo initially developed and honed their skills dancing at home with their extended family. At about the age of 10 they connected with the legendary coach Mr. Playmo. They began entering underground hip-hop battle competitions, and together with their crew, Criminalz Crew, won countless battles.
In 2008 Les Twins participated in France's Incroyable Talent, France's equivalent to America's Got Talent, and danced their way to the finals in which they earned 6th place. They also made it to the semi-finals of Juste Debout, the largest Hip-Hop competition in the world. In 2011 they won Juste Debout!
In 2010, Les Twins were filmed while performing at the World of Dance competition in San Diego, California. That video went viral on Youtube, and garnered the attention of Ellen Degeneres. Elle invited them to perform on her show, which was their first TV appearance in America. After this exposure, their career took off in a new way.
Through the years since they have toured with many entertainment giants, including Jay Z and Beyonce, with whom they worked and toured with over a period of 6 years. Other entertainers and artists include Missy Elliot, Megan Trainor, and Red Cafe, just to name a few. Les Twins have appeared on innumerable other projects with a wide range of artists, entertainers and sports figures. In addition, Laurent and Larry have conducted countless dance workshops all over the world, in cities on every continent of the world.
In 2017 Les Twins won the first edition of the World of Dance TV show produced by Jennifer Lopez. Subsequent to that win, they released new music, and became the first, and only, dancers to sign with Michael Jordan to become part of the Jordan Family. In 2019 they designed a shoe for the Jordan Collection, that sold out in a matter of minutes.
In 2018 they became resident judges on the French Canadian dance competition show, Revolution TVA, along side Jean Marc Genereux and Lydia Bouchard.
In 2019, in addition to a variety of other projects, Laurent and Larry were in two movies - Men in Black International and Cats.
In 2020 Les Twins were judges for the Juste Debout Dance competition tour.
