- Second Unit Director or Assistant Director
Jasmine De La Fuente is an LA-based, fourth-generation Mexican-American SAG actress with strong comedy chops (Lesly Kahn, UCB). She brings a unique blend of wit, charm, and authenticity to her roles, portraying driven truth-seekers with big hearts and clever disarming humor. With a type often likened to Gina Rodriguez or a young Justina Machado, Jasmine embodies characters with depth, playfulness, and spunk-America Ferrera meets Mindy Kaling in the Chicago-verse.
Originally from Northern California, Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and played collegiate soccer while studying pre-medicine at Azusa Pacific University. Her athletic background and experiences working with people from all walks of life bring relatability and grit to her work.
Jasmine's talents extend beyond acting into writing and producing, with credits in both live-action and animation. Most recently, she co-produced along with her stand-up comedian husband Kurt Steinmuller - a docu-sketch comedy about a deranged animal "expert" called, Kurt Gone Wild.
Outside of her creative pursuits, Jasmine is a natural athlete who plays weekly beach flag football, watching British crime dramas, and exploring new challenges.
