Charlie Sloin

Charlie Sloin has been acting for more than 40 years on stage,
beginning on the east coast and moving to Columbus, Ohio 22 years ago.
Most recently, he appeared as Weller Martin in The Gin Game with
Columbus Civic Theatre. Other favorite roles include Mauritius
(Sterling), Sunshine Boys (Willie Clark), Boy Gets Girl (Les Kennkat);
Inherit the Wind (Henry Drummond); Death of a Salesman (Willie Loman);
Little Abner (Marryin' Sam), and Fiddler on the Roof (Tevye), the
latter which he reprised three times in Pennsylvania and Ohio. His film
credits include Brass Ring, and, most recently, Late Lunch in which he
was honored to appear with his daughter, who wrote the screenplay,
directed him, and played opposite him as Sugar. Charlie has been
recognized by the Theatre Roundtable of Central Ohio with four
outstanding actor awards and two audience choice awards since 2003.
