Born February 27, 1991, Jesse Heisel has had a passion for filmmaking
since he was 13 years old. His love and respect for the horror genre
was a huge influence on his growing up and career choices. In fact, it
was not a specific film or filmmaker that inspired him to embark upon a
career in film. Rather, it was a specific 1980s horror movie slasher
icon - Jason Voorhees. Heisel does not view filmmaking as a career but,
rather, as a way of life. There is never a day when he is not thinking
about what new forms of art he can create through cinema.
