Teen pop star and anti-bullying/mental health icon Meredith O'Connor is a role model and idol to fans all over the world. Her music is loved by millions and some have even claimed that it saved their lives during challenges with bullying and isolation.
Meredith's first hit song "Celebrity" went viral on the internet. Since then she has used her platform to tell her story as a victim of bullying to her fans, through her song that followed titled "The Game". Soon after, her song "Just the Thing" became a hit, with the music video featured on Teen Nick, and VEVO, also garnering an LAIFF award. The video, filmed in a school, is about how it can be a good thing to be different. Her music has been featured on Radio Disney, Teen Nick, and MTV, as well as in feature films.
Kenny Ortiz is the Executive producer, and Heather Holley the vocal producer and co-writer for Meredith's new full length album titled "I am", under the management of Rick Galvin. "I am" focuses on themes of overcoming adversity and embracing ones' own unique qualities, and features "Stronger", a duet with Teen Beach Movie's Garrett Clayton, and other surprises. The video for "Stronger" premiered on NBC's EXTRA TV. "I am" is available on iTunes, Amazon and other stores.
Meredith has spoken at schools in over 100 cities internationally, and has sold out appearances in London, New York, Athens, Nashville and Los Angeles. She is serving as the Celebrity Youth Ambassador at UN Women for her anti bullying and mental health work and influence on her fanbase. Her manager is Rick Galvin, founder of CG Talent.
She is in pre-production for a film based on her life, starring Ms. O'Connor as the lead, to be directed by Cinderella Story's Ilyssa Goodman and distributed by Sony.
