Deeva Gordon

If there is one consistency in the life of Deeva Gordon, it is that there has been a solid foundation of tenacity, perseverance and excellence. Ms. Gordon is an award winning Entertainment Professional. Her vast experience of 25 years as a Writer, Director and Producer in 2006 culminated into the creation of Deeva Entertainment Unlimited Productions, LLC. In her early career, Ms. Gordon's vocal and acting talents afforded her the opportunity to perform on domestic and international stages. Based in New York, NY, she became a member of the Theater for a New Generation Theater Company. This would be one of many theater groups she was a member of. In 2006 she opened her own theater company by writing, casting and directing her own original stage plays. Thus, Deeva Entertainment Unlimited Productions LLC, was born with the film division being DEU Productions LLC with residency at the Stage Crafters Theater. Her first theater production of "Have You Seen Her" was performed at the World Renown oldest African American Theater in the country, Freedom Theater. Ms. Gordon held a two-week run simultaneously with two different productions "Faces of Life" and "Have You Seen Her" at the Walnut Street Theater which is the oldest operating theatre in the United States. Ms. Gordon went on to write, direct, cast, and produce many stage productions such as "Lord I Prayed," "Dirty Laundry," "Faces of Life" and many more. Her filmed stage production of "Dirty Laundry" is available on "Amazon Prime." Ms. Gordon's filmed stage productions such as " Lord I Prayed", and "Witness" are available on You Tube. Due to critical acclaim and demand, Ms. Gordon adapted her stage production of "Have You Seen Her" into a film. "Have You Seen Her" received over five nominations in multiple categories at the Philadelphia Independent Film Awards, winning Best Director category. That accomplishment led to a network distribution deal, and "Have You Seen Her" is in rotation on TUBI. Ms. Gordon went on to adapt her stage production of "Witness" to yet another acclaimed feature film that premiered Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Regal UA Grant Plaza Theater in Philadelphia, PA. Ms. Gordon is a Filmmaker with Sag-Aftra, a member of The Writers Guild East, PhillyCam, sits on the board of PHL Film Advisory Board Chaired by Councilman David Oh and is a theatre consultant working with the Sundance Institute since 2017. She is in Production of a new feature film of "The Infamous Black Madam" serving as Writer, Director and Producer of this true story.

Ms. Gordon volunteers her time and talents as she serves her community, schools and non-profit organizations. She is a creative writer, focused producer and collaborative director with a spirit of excellence. Ms. Gordon is mother of three children and resides in Philadelphia.
